You might ask, “What is a STAR-B-Q?”It is an annual event held in various locations throughout the US to meet and greet other members of Star Touring Riding Chapters & friends in your part of the country.
A “STAR-B-Q” usually takes place over a Friday & Saturday and is chock full of Motorcycle Rides, Contests & Events, Vendor Exhibits, an Awards Banquet and who knows what else! Typically some riders arrive as early as the day before and some linger into Sunday.
Both these days are also set-up to include “unofficial” activities, rides and get togethersfor the event participants. Recent “STAR-B-Q” 's have had hundreds of riders turnout for the festivities and we expect an equally large turnout.
Registration is now open so don't delay calling the CLARION Hotel if your require a room, so you can be part of the “fun to be had” at the 2005 Bluegrass STAR-B-Q! Single registration is $45.00, Couples are $85.00 & children under 13 are free!
Although STARTouring and Riding features the STARline of Yamaha motorcycles which includes the Venture, Royal Star, Road Star, Warrior & V-Star models, IT IS open to all riders of all brands of motorcycles. STar Touring and Riding is currently the fastest growing international family riding organization in history and is comprised of more than 340 Chapters totaling over 40,000 members!Conceived in 1995 and founded in 1996, STAR Touring and Riding Association is an international family riding organization. As the, "Official STAROrganization of Yamaha Motor Corp.,"
STAR is a non-political, non-confrontational association.
*MISSION* To pursue, promote and protect the interests of motorcyclists; to de-velop better and more enthusiastic relations between the general public, the me-dia and the operators and riders of motorcycles; to encourage rider participation in events; to promote motorcycle safety and camaraderie among members, to promote organized events; and in general, perform them in a lawful manner.
