Just bought a 2002 Silverado with 68900 Kms / 43000+ miles on it.

It has all the dress of chrome and crash bar with highway pegs. Chrome fender trim. Makes a big sound, runs really well, and turns heads when I ride by - even Hawg Owners have to stare. Pic attached.

Anyone hear have experience with Road Stars getting old and when does that start to happen. What goes ? Engine ? power drive ?

Opinions will be appreciated no matter how qualified. Thanks in advance.

I have a friend with 80,000 plus on his and still going strong! If that is any consolation.

I've got an '02 that I bought used 3 yrs ago. It had 1400 miles on it then. I just passed 45000. Tires, gas, rear break pad, replaced front break rotors and pads last Summer (cause I sometimes break real hard), otherwise nothing has worn out or broke but a couple of bulbs and a battery.

Ride; sober and free.

I just picked up a 05 Midnight Star! WooHoo! After I traded the 02 Warrior so the wife could ride, she decided she didn't want to ride any more :( The bike is pretty clean, it has a broken braket on the chromed lower but I think I can make a solid repair. I miss this message board. Been awhile but I'm back.
